They are handmade in the USA by our AMISH old world craftsmen, they just can not be replicated here or anywhere.They are made using old world leather working skills that can not be equalled, they are impregnated with animal tallows that keep the leather moist. You wont believe how soft these leads are right from brand new, & they only feel better the more you use them.They our first choice of leash, the main one we use in our training facility was made in 1996, I regularly inspect it and use it for all the dogs we train for personal protection. We put our life in the quality of my lead that is now over 10 years old.They are also hand stitched and rivetted, they don't have those quick release horse snaps that I have seen slip.
